The deteriorating road infrastructure in Dihlabeng Local Municipality is causing inconvenience for residents and commuters and significantly impacting local investment prospects. The crumbling roads have become a major concern for local business investors.

Potholes and cracks are not only affecting motorists’ safety but also stalling the area’s economic development. Potential investors are increasingly deterred by the poor road conditions, which create an adverse impression and inhibit business opportunities.

For investors to commit their resources, they must have confidence in the infrastructure of an area. Unfortunately, Dihlabeng’s deteriorating roads are sending the wrong signal, undermining growth and development.

We urge the municipality to prioritise road maintenance and improvement to attract investment and stimulate economic growth. By investing in road rehabilitation, Dihlabeng can foster a business-friendly environment and instil confidence in potential investors.

We call on local authorities to take immediate action to address the crumbling road infrastructure. Implementing necessary upgrades will support the region’s economic development and improve the quality of life for all residents.
