Despite past allocations for Klein Magassa’s rehabilitation in 2012 and 2019, little has changed. Funds intended for its restoration have been diverted, robbing the community of its rightful heritage and cultural space. This betrayal of trust resonates deeply, particularly in an election year where the celebration of freedom rings hollow against the backdrop of neglect.
The Democratic Alliance (DA) recognises the importance of preserving heritage sites like Klein Magassa Hall.
