On Wednesday, 30 November, the DA Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality Caucus invite media, residents and civic groups to join us in expressing our outrage at the collapse of services in the Mangaung Metro. The briefing will be presented by Cllr Johan Pretorius, Caucus Leader and MPL David van Vuuren, Constituency Head.
Since May 2022, when the previous motion of no confidence against the Mayor served in Council, service delivery is at an all-time low. The Mayor has made promises that by November 2022, Mangaung will not be recognisable. Quality basic services will be delivered, investors will be attracted and an environment for economic growth will be created.
None of these promises were realised, instead Mangaung Metro is heading in the other direction of total collapse.
