– DA drives voter registration in Kopanong,
– Urges residents to fix IEC details ahead of the 4 November Election,
– Register and vote to bring real change and get Kopanong working.
The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Kopanong launched our voter registration campaign poster for Extension 3, Reddersburg.
Residents of Reddersburg and all other nine towns of Kopanong have, for far too long, been subjected to failing basic service delivery, which has negatively affected their lives and livelihoods.
The DA’s message to voters in Kopanong is clear: Kopanong and the New Municipality can work!
Although it is noted that Kopanong will be divided into two distinct municipalities after the elections, we strongly encourage residents to ensure their voter registration details are correctly recorded with the IEC. Several voting districts have been amended as part of the delamination process.
But Kopanong and the New Municipality can only work if every voter is correctly registered for the local government elections on 4 November.
In local government, the DA can work hard to improve service delivery in all 9 towns, prioritising the provision of basic services such as water, a stable electricity network, working street lights, functional sewerage plants, road infrastructure, and refuse removal.
Getting our towns working starts at the ballot box. We call on all residents to register to vote DA by visiting check.da.org.za or by visiting their local voting station on 20 and 21 June.
The DA believes in the Platteland. We believe that Bethulie, Edenburg, Fauresmith, Gariepdam, Jagersfontein, Philippolis, Trompsburg, Reddersburg and Springfontein can work for their residents.
