The Democratic Alliance in the Free State held its manifesto launch in Thaba Nchu today, where Premier Candidate Roy Jankielsohn and DA Federal Leader John Steenhuisen presented the party’s plan to rescue the province.
The election on the 29th of May is the biggest landmark in South African political history since the first inclusive democratic election in 1994. This time, we are voting to rescue our province and country from the grip of economic decline, crime and corruption.
The DA is the only party with a proven track record of taking a manifesto from a promise to the people and turning that document into an implementable plan in government that residents benefit from.
The DA in Free State has a plan to turn around the decline the province has experienced over the past 30 years by:
- Creating opportunities for investment and jobs,
- Restoring water supply and basic services to communities,
- Eradicating crime and corruption,
- Restoring our roads infrastructure and;
- Enabling an efficient and effective provincial administration
The plan is in place and the opportunity to realise the immense economic potential of our province is within reach. It is left to the voters to ensure that their partner in government for the next five years is the DA, which is the only party that has proven it can win a province and bring it up to world-class standard.
